| What kind of computer do you have??? I'm looking for a new computer and I have no idea what I should look for now. I just saw the iMac and thought it was AWESOME but... I've never used an Apple - only regular computers (HP & Dell etc with Windows). How many of you have an iMac? Do any of you have that new thing called Blue Ray (or something like that ? Who has Vista? I want my computer for pictures, emails, letters etc. - just personal stuff. My son said if I got a new cpu that I should go ahead and get the screen and printer too because they all have new connetions now - not like mine. HELP...

| I really don't know much about Macs and before I would've never bought one, but at school we have PC's and Macs, and there I like the Macs better. I guess I'm getting more used to them, and wouldn't mind my next computer being an Imac. I still have a lot to learna bout them though, the other day I had to ask someone how to put a cd in the cdrom So they are different if your used to windows, But I'm sure it's just like anything else, the more you use it the more you learn about it

| I like Brooke bought a Macbook. I never had a mac either but I love it. It has an itel processor so you can buy a program called Parallels that allows you to install Windows XP or Vista on your mac. This gives you 2 computers in one!! I have to admit though that the Mac side functions seamlessly and you don't get viruses. On the windows side I have a hard time accessing windows programs sometimes. When I get a new desktop I will get a Mac.

My little Shadow Donating YT Member | Hi, We've had the Gateway Micros Vista Laptop for a short time. We love it so far. @the time, I was staying with my Mom in the hospital when our computer died (Dell), & my husband bought it. My daughter was advising to get the IMac (she's used those @work & loved it), but he made the final decision and needed in a hurry so that's what we ended up with. Good Luck!

| I don't have a mac, but I have 2 computers. I have a desktop that runs Windows XP and I got a laptop (for christmas) that runs Vista. I really don't like Vista. I guess I am just so used to XP, guess I'm not ready for change yet! LOL!

| I just bought a Macbook within the last month and I love it!! I had an old Dell desktop before that and it died! Now that I have a laptop, I can't imagine going back to a desktop! I'm still learning and pictures were something very important to me too and Macs are great for photos! I was used to Microsoft office and finally started dabbling in iworks today and put my personal budget together and it was simple and easy to use! I've heard alot of people don't like Vista and so I figured if I was going to get used to something new, I might as well go with a Mac! My parents, both of my brothers and my sister-n-law all had Macs, I was the last one!

| We have 3 computers, none of them macs. My older desktop is an HP, a compaq laptop, and an HP laptop. The Hp laptop has vista the others are XP. I don't notice a big difference between the two. The newer laptop also has a tv tuner so you can use it as a tv, I like that. We do alot of traveling, so the wireless laptops are very handy with most hotels having wi-fi available. How we ever got along with out computers, I can't imagine |

| I have a Mac Book, and I love it too. I've had it for over a year, and it still works great, fast and no viruses.
