I know I'm lame, it's saturday night, but I'm a little ticked at my boyfriend so instead of going out I'm going to sit on the computer and talk to you guys! You're better anyway lol Okay now that the ranting is out of the way....what's your name & what does it mean?
My name is Claribel & it means bright & beautiful (clara + belle) I'm not sure where it's from since I've heard everything from England to France but all I know is whenever an older person hears it they ask if my parents named me after the clown from Howdy Doody lol....they didn't!

Claribel is such a pretty name! I've never heard it before- I never saw Howdy Doody. My name is..... Nikki! I think it means "short for Nicole". Nicole means victorious or something like that.

Haha thanks! I like it too except since not many people have heard of it I usually have to repeat it 4 or 5 times I've been called "caramel" more than once I kid you not. I like Nikki too, it sounds cool, like you ride a motorcycle and don't take crap from anyone haha

Wow. I am 'pearl....of spring" using both my first and middle name. However....I was born in December (23) so it's hard to figure how I could be a pearl of spring. And I never ever tell my middle name. That's how much I hate it.

Oh no Ann that is not good! You inspired me to go look up my first name (since I use my middle name). My first name, Angela means (big surprise) angel or messenger of God. So I'm a victorious messenger of God, thank you very much!

Actually my mom wanted to just name me Nikki after her swim coach and my grandmother convinced her it would be highly improper on graduation, wedding, birth announcements. She named me Angela Nicole to make my grandmother happy but now tells everyone that because I was born around Christmas, she named me Angela because I was her Christmas angel, lol. Total BS. I've never been called anything but Nikki and much to my sweet grandmother's chagrin, Nikki is what has appeared on all of the formal invitations.
