Oh no Ann that is not good! You inspired me to go look up my first name (since I use my middle name). My first name, Angela means (big surprise) angel or messenger of God. So I'm a victorious messenger of God, thank you very much!
Actually my mom wanted to just name me Nikki after her swim coach and my grandmother convinced her it would be highly improper on graduation, wedding, birth announcements. She named me Angela Nicole to make my grandmother happy but now tells everyone that because I was born around Christmas, she named me Angela because I was her Christmas angel, lol.
Total BS. I've never been called anything but Nikki and much to my sweet grandmother's chagrin, Nikki is what has appeared on all of the formal invitations.
