| Rum Bar Bars This is for the brits I guess and I hope someone can help. I'm having a birthday party for my Dad very soon and his favourite cakes are Rum Bar Bars. For anyone not familiar with what they are let me describe them, small round sponge type cakes, dollop of fresh cream on top and then a cherry drenched in a rum and sugar syrup.I live in the North London area, England and would love to be able to get some for his birthday dinner we are holding for him but cannot find anyone who sells them anymore. They use to be sold everywhere but now you don't see them in the cake shops. Please can any brits who read this and know of somewhere where I might try please let me know. All your help is very much appreciated. Many Thanks Omare |
