| Back to Iraq My son leaves this evening, going back to work in Iraq. I think he's had a very good visit with this wife and daughters. He's very happy that the whole family went up for a weekend with him. He tells me that this will be his last hitch and that he'll be home to stay before Christmas. Of course, he wants me to take him to the airport, because it's easier for him to leave me than his girls. So, I'll be sobbing myself to sleep tonight. I'm praying for his safety!

| Sending prayers out for your son and family today as I always do. My son-in-law (husband of my youngest daughter) was recently deployed to Iraq for the third time. He left three days after they bought their first house in NC. She's on her way to FL today to stay with us a few days then I'll be going to stay with her a couple weeks to paint, decorate, etc. He's a truck driver so it's a little scary but he's doing what he feels is right. Prayers to you and yours for the safe return of your son for Christmas. |

| My roommate's younger brother is in Iraq as well. Like you she and her mom have had a really rough time with it. So I'm sending lots of hugs and prayers for your son. It's like I tell her, tears aren't weakness, they are cleansing. So you'll just be squeeky clean! Please thank your son on my behalf for his services.

| I will pray for his safe return. My husbands former unit just deployed to Afghanistan yesterday. It is their 4th time going to the middle east, It is sooo hard on the children when their fathers leave, it's heartbreaking. Try to stay strong and pray the time goes fast...I know that is not easy.
