It's a little bitty grater thing. On the commercial they show it zesting a lemon and it would make a great zester (as long as you didn't use it on your feet of course).

Just an FYI, the file/blade mechanism does dull after a while and needs to be replaced. PedEgg has a club where they send you replacement files, buffers and cream every few months. If interested, PM me and I will get you the info. You can probably just google PedEgg club.

its on mine too. I decided to hold off on buying one after hearing it didn't run on batteries and it sounded pretty much like my file from the $1 store. As long as I use it every other day it keeps my feet nice.

Trust me....you will find it is nothing like what you already have. My bathroom cabinet is filled with every product known to man to deal with this problem. NOTHING compares to the PedEgg.

I know my sister needs it! LOL.... Can you use it even if your feet is smooth? I put lotion and baby oil on my feet and legs everyday

You don't need it if your feet are smooth. This is for those that have a problem with calluses on their feet. I have them because I go barefoot so much.

I just have a really hard time keeping a pair of shoes on my feet. Must be from running the beaches all the time. They were always fine in those days but now I get calluses. They are awful. The Ped Egg helped tremendously. Once and only once I let someone 'razor' my feet at a beauty salon in southern CA....I was so nervous the whole while. It didn't do the job well enough to go through that again! (It was also illegal...I don't know why I let her talk me into it!)

So, no....if you have pretty feet....soft feet...you don't need it! What a blessing!
