Woo hoo, I just purchased this today at BBB and used my discount coupon. My feet look maavelous darling. I can't wait to tell my sister about it! |
My daughter called me last night about this egg.....she's always complaining at how gross her heals are, she said she has cracks on the backs of her heals that she can stick her nail in......the blankets get snagged on them too.... She has used every kind of sanding board she can find, had some so- so luck with a few but nothing could quite bust through that barrier of petrified skin on those heals...until she bought that egg!....She was soooo eggcited in telling me how smooth her heals are and about when she opened up that egg and dumped her skin shavings out...she said it looked like it was snowing.....She is very happy with that egg.....I think she dropped a shoe size.... |
This whole thread is so gross... but so swesome!!!! I have got to look into this egg! I watched the video and when she tossed the "filings" into the trash I was like... Ewwwwwwww! But then I was like... wooooowwww!!!!! Cool! k |
The filings are nasty but you really feel like you've accomplished something.:D |
Is the Ped Egg like when they shave your feet at the nail salon? I don't get my feet shaved because I heard it was bad for them. Is this like that? This looks really cool. I'm going to Linens-n-Things tonight after work to check it out! |

I saw the infomercial and wanted to try it but was afraid of the pain - I read that it doesn't hurt, but does it tickle at all? My tooties are too ticklish, I don't like getting pedicures bc I worry that I'm going to kick the technician in the face from the tickling! Also, does it work just as well on the side of the big toe? That's my problem spot. |
Ok I bought it and really like it.. However I was on a roll using it and I used it to far down and made myself bleed a little on the side of my big toe To me my feet are yucky and dry but I get pedicures every 2 weeks so really they cant be as bad as I thought lol. You know how sometimes one thinks things are worse then they really are well thats me. Like someone else said with the yucking filings left over you feel like you really did accomplish something. I even conned my fiance into letting me try it on him. Didnt last long but hes got that yucky calous thing on his toe and I got some of it off!! I was so proud of myself. I doubt hes going to let me experiment on him again though |
After reading all these positive reviews, I think I'm gonna hafta go purchase one. :D I didn't buy one at first because the commerical was irritating to me. I'm like that. If I see a product and the commerical is annoying I won't buy it - even if its something I'm interested in lol. ANYWAY. Since it IS sandal season, its time to shape up the footsies a bit. :) |
we "barefoot" 12 months a year here and my dd is ADDICTED to pedicures.. i have never been able to do it.... I think I need to check out the "egg"..... d |
I haven't ever tried the egg, but the best thing I ever purchased was a callus shaver from the beauty supply place. Under 5 bucks... |
Look, I'm coming out of the woodwork to rave about the pedegg! It is honestly the best $10 I've ever spent! As for foot lotion, I love Bath and Body Works Heel of Approval. It's got glycolic acid in it, which helps to heal the cracked skin even more. It's kind of expensive, but the jar lasts forever. After reading all these raves I ran out to buy a PedEgg and it works wonders! I've had hard skin on the side of my big toe since I was a preteen  and finally it's gone! :D Note to new users though: make sure you use it with the file facing up or to the side, not facing downward. I always say leave it to me to botch something easy  but I got on a roll with it, with the filing side facing down, and instead of the egg holding all the shavings they wound up all over the floor! |
I saw the Ped Egg at J.C. Penney the other day. It is in housewares, in the "Seen on TV" display. I forgot to check the price. |
