I saw that while watching last night. Can't wait to see the show tonight. If that's really true our world population will go down to nothing if a man get's to be pregnant. We all know they can't handle pain of any kind. A hang nail and they are in bed for a week:p |

I personally don't see why they are acting like it is some medical breakthrough :rolleyes: This is NOT a man that is pregnant...this is a WOMAN who wants to live like a man. I think she had her breasts removed but that is as far as she went medically as far as becoming a man. Every time I hear them talking about it on TV I just :rolleyes: And yes, that poor kid :( So basically to sum it up :cool: This is a woman that looks like a man and wants people to think she is a man and she is pregnant ~ no miracle ~ no scientific breakthrough ~ nothing to see here :D |

I agree that the media shouldn't be making a big deal about it ,there is no scientific discovery going on here on anything. He's a woman and women can have babies. THe news are covering the whole story but when they mention that he was born a woman they are saying it like a comment on the side, not something important... whatever it takes to get people to watch their shows, huh!? |
Perhaps everyone should do some research on transgender issues. Just a suggestion. And maybe the reason they are coming forward with it now is to raise awareness on all the issues involved (transgender, conception, parenting, diversity). I'm willing to bet the only problems that child will have is that of an ignorant world. |

I saw a preview for this on TV this morning before I left for work. I thought, oh my god, I hope Oprah is not turning her show into a Jerry Springer type program. :( :eek: I get it now. Thanks everyone for that information. |
Apparently,this "man" used to be a woman and then he had a sex change. That's why he is able to carry a baby. |
