| Wedding RSVP help... Please I am making my own wedding invitations (all 400 of them), and am putting in a RSVP. I want to make the RSVP a postcard, but I don't know what to put on it. I plan on printing them out myself. Can anyone help me out? I'm just a little stressed right now . The invites have to go out here soon. I'm done with the invitations, now I'm just working on getting these made. Thanks so much!

| I just got an invitation in the mail yesterday. Their RSVP card is a postcard. It has a cute little decorative border around the whole thing and their mailing address on the right side. It says... We look forward to celebrating with you. Please reply by May 2, 2008 Name__________ ___number of persons attending wedding ceremony Appetizers/Dinner/Reception (please reply-needed for accurate meal count) ___number of adults attending dinner/reception ___number of children(under 10) attending dinner/reception ___not able to attend It's also a nice touch if you put postage on it!

| You can find index cards without the lines on them in all different colors. Try an office supply store. The postage would probably that of a postcard. Good luck!

| Great idea! But I think that the post office has a thickness and size thing. So I'll have to check on that. I was just going to go to staples or something and buy postcards to print. I'll def have to check, I never would have thought about the index cards!

| Mine said something like: _______ We can't wait to celebrate with you. _#__ guests will be attending. Please select entre' ______ Filet Mignon with Gulf Shrimp ______ Roasted Salmon _______ Sorry, we will be unable to attend My guest list was numbered. I wrote the corresponding number on the back of the envelope so they didnt have to tell me who they were. All of the return envelopes were already addressed to me and postage was included. They came back fast! Good luck |

| I would have never thought of that. Pretty awesome idea. I'm sort of brain dead right now. I am in my final semester of classes (we both are doing student teaching this fall) and everything is happening all at once it seems. So. I couldn't think of anything clever if I had too! I hope I get more excited about these RSVPs

| also, you could get postcards off of vista print. They always have really good deals. Some times you can even get codes for 100 free (I did this for my save the dates) and shipping isn't bad either.

| You can also use card stock and print 4 to a page. After you print one side, put them back in the printer and print the return address side. Then cut them out with a paper cutter.

| Congratulations!! Since you're stressing out, my advice to all brides to be: No one remembers a "perfect" wedding other than to remember that it was quite lovely. So embrace whatever goes wrong either in the planning or the day. Those are the things that will make your experience memorable for you and your guests. And if you are a good story teller, those stories just get better and better with a bit of embellishment over the years. Several things didn't go according to plan for my wedding, and it's still a great memory to everyone who was there. Enjoy the planning and enjoy the day.
