| Your Kitchen Sink. What is the depth of your kitchen sink? I am trying to decide whether a 6' is too shallow or not.... |

| I went to a single deep bowl sink 20 yrs ago and have had it in 3 houses. This one is 10" deep and big enough for cookie sheets and platters. I love it and will never change back to a double shallow one. Here's Grand-D Izz having a bath.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Me too, when I bought it though, the salesman warned me it was going to lower resale value of the house because double sinks were the most popular. I love mine. I think 7-8 inches is minimum I would prefer. Cute picture, some day she's gonna kill you though!

| Definitely 6 inches is not deep enough (IMO). We went with the double sink, but our next house WILL have the single farm house type sink! I sooo wish I stuck strong to that idea, but listened to everyone else! Oh well...live and learn!

| I concur...6" is too shallow. You'll regret it after a short time. I am considering replacing mine with either the single deep bowl or the one with a large deep section and then a smaller side too.

| 6" is too shallow, (especially if you want to wash the doggies in it) DSC00011.JPG mine is Stainless Steel and 10" deep, 20" left to right and 15" front to back. YorkieMom55, I love the contour in your sink ....

| I have a deep, double sink and I love it. It has a tall faucet that I can fit anything under!

Donating YT 14K Club Member | We have a deep SS double sink and I love it! When we eventually get to remodel the kitchen, I will stick with the deep SS double.

| My 6 inch sink is weigh to shallow and I hate it. Water flys everywhere when trying to wash stuff and I always end up wet!
