They just got back from a run and I told my son to increase it. This time she actually came back tired because I guess they were chases by 3 Chihuahuas :lol tears My son said she was trying to bark and run at the same time:D I would like to have seen it:D |

Years back when I was pregnant with my first daughter we had a pitbull that suffered from what I know know to be seperation anxiety. It was horrible The minute we left he would set up howling like someone beat him. Then he would wreak havoc on the house. When we moved from that apt I paid a lot of damages. Not to mention the forced poos and pees we would come home to. So I have a good idea of what you deal with. It was sad because while I loved that dog I hated him.... |

[COLOR="DarkGreen"]:animal36 You have got yourself some kind of dog. ( It is a funny story :D ) Sounds like she is very smart and does not like to be left alone, even for a minute. Maybe she needs to be around people all the time. You must be soooooo stressed-out! Your husband  must be very understanding to let you keep the shepherd this long. Do you have some place in your News Paper to put a add in about the shepherd, maybe someone can help. I would be worried about your :aimeeyork Yorkies. If something would happen the them it would be heart breaking. I wish you all the best, Good Luck! [/COLOR |

That sounds like my friends dog...she was a german shepard/labrador mix. She broke through 2 crates, soo my friend put her in the spare room well the dog opened the window and broke the screen and jumped out (keep in my she lived in a 2 story condo and the spare room is on the second floor) Luckily she wasn't injured but still that is crazy! So the next time she put the dog in the bathroom on the first floor...well the dog broke a hole in the door and then opened the locked window in the living room and jumped out. My friend ended up giving the dog to a man who owns a ranch. |

Well I didnt read everyone else's post's but here are my 2cents of advice... We had a puppy a Boston she was the most adorable thing loved Attention and to cuddle BUT she was a menace... We have a new house built less than 2 yrs and she chewed carpet, walls, molding, doors .etc... sooo.. we asked my mom and she had just lost her dog and now she is living with them.. we paid to get her spayed and all shots up to date, my mom has her now and while she is hyper she at least keeps my mom company and has a HUGE yard to play in and run around, sunbath etc when my mom is gardening.. I miss her but I know she is well taken care of loved and not destroying my house because she has the one on one attention that she craves.. plus she was a bit of a bully to my poor little 4 lb gizmo... just my story hope it helps! |
