That's why we want to move! Our taxes in a 2 bedroom townhouse are more than that. Our neighbors in the SFs pay like $9000 a year for taxes! No one tells you that when you look to see that your principal + interest is the same as rent. Yeah, plus way more for taxes and association dues.
