| Migraines As many other YT'ers I suffer from severe migraines =( I have what they diagnosed as BAM or Basilar Artery Migraines. Okay...I can deal with it...however I have been in the hospital 4 times in the past 2 weeks. That I can't deal with; I have been pumped with everything from Ativan to Morphine...and now have an ulcer because of the aspirin regimen they prescribed to reduce the possibility of a stroke. I am only 21 and I am starting to be so lost with the whole situation. I can handle having migraines but they last visit to the ER they told me I was having a TIA (mini stroke) and kept me for 4 days. I am beginning to feel overwhelmed. I was wondering if anyone on here; does any alternative medicine therapies and how it works for yall'? I think my body needs to be detoxed from all the crap that has been put in...I am having severe stomach pains; and headaches...the DR. said that its my body trying to "get back to normal". Do any other migraine sufferers do yoga, meditation, detoxing, acupuncture, reflexology?? ANYTHING??? I am willing to try everything and anything at this point. Classes, clinics, vacations?? Thanks for letting me vent everyone!! But if anyone has ideas it would be great!

I was always told to take a paper bag and blow in and out of it for migraines...I've only had the one, and at the time, didn't have a paper bag, so couldn't tell you if that works or not..but, I would be on the phone calling around, give the chiropractor a shot | |

| Do a search on here. Someone posted about some pepper spray stuff that worked almost instantly with migraines. Good luck. I sure hope you can find the right solution for you.

| I sure feel for you. I suffered for Migraines for many years. They stopped when I went through Menopause,I think alot of migraines are hormonal. I wish you the best of luck in finding help! |

| I also suffer from migraines. I have recently gone the natural route and only had 3 in a month and a half!! I used either wake up with one or a really bad headache that eventually went into one...I was getting migraines 2-4 days a week (each one lasting 2 days everytime.). I started taking Omega 3 with Fish Oil (2/day...1000 mg each.). I did do research about the natural supplements before trying this, though. Feel free to PM me, if you want. Tammy |

| Bless you heart girl! I've researched a little into natural health alternatives, but what I tried didn't help much! Peppermint & Lavender essential oils are suggested to aid in reduction of headaches. Maybe it would help you? Saying a prayer for you!
