wow..that is a lot of rain. we got consistent rain here today but it is supposed to be nice tomorrow. then rain again on monday oye....i am SOOOO glad that it seems spring has "sprung" cuz it has been pretty warm...but I really don't like rain. this is why I am more of a summer girl plus..I need to give the pooches baths and I don't want to when it is rainy and muddy out

We are getting pounded by it now. There is a tornado warning, meaning one has been spotted in the NW part of our county, about 15 miles from here. Its lightning pretty bad and Slade didn't want to come inside when I took him out to pee He's safe inside now though!

Hey Cindy,
I sent you a pm. I was at a bday party and when i got home i talked to Aerrica and she told me about the weather you all got in GA. and i'm sorry i didn't check on you sooner than now. I came home and took a nap after i spoke with Aerrica. I'm glad you all are alright! that was really scary stuff.

Guess you're getting what my family got in MS last night. My mother said the lightning was fierce. They have been so dry for the last 2 or 3 yrs. and now they are drowning. Someone asked if you have a storm shelter. That is a real problem for my family. No basement/no re-enforced closet. Water level to high. Sometimes when they drive through the fields with their tractors, water will squish up through crawdad holes. Guess I'll stay living in good ol' KS where we at least can have basements.

Cindy has a basement..she's a couple hours from me, and our rain has stopped(we always get the weather here that they get)...actually supposed to be nice out today(sunny), we've been in a bad drought for a couple years. Atlanta area was worried a few mos. back they were going to be without water(they were wanting to pipe some of ours from our lake even to Atlanta)..that never happened...We need rain, just not all at one time like we got in the last couple days.

Hello everyone! Welcome to sunny Georgia! The weather is beautiful today, the rain washed the sky clean and it is the bluest blue I have seen in a long while.

Please pray for the people living in the Wax Community about 5 miles from me. A tornado ripped up the community, leveling about 20 homes, injuring several people, and killing one. My son worked the Sheriff's Possee door to door rescue and he said it looked like a bull dozer leveled the entire area.
