Patti, sending you hugs on a very tough day for you.

As the years go by the date will get a little easier for you. It has for me. Although I have to say, it's been 5 years now for me since my mom passed away and I can remember that day like it was yesterday. You will remember also but the pain isn't as intense as the years go by. Take Care.......

Patti - I'm sending you hugs. There probably isn't much that will help ease your sorrow or the fact you are simply missing your mom, but I'm hoping that knowing we are thinking of you will at least give you strength.

Thank you all so much and special Thanks to my dear friend Connie who has traveled this sad journey with me and been there on my bad days. We just got home from the cemetery it is over an hour away since the plots were bought before we moved my parents by me, so we don't take my 88 year old Dad much, so it was hard seeing him so broke up, then my sister and I just stood there and talked to her and cried.
I know one day it will be easier. She really was one in a million as a person and Mom. She never thought of herself and helped so many people it was unreal.
The beautiful peace lily that YT'ers so generously sent to me last year is thriving and a beautiful Memorial to my Mom. Connie just sent me a beautiful butterfly that hangs on a planter to put on it and it looks so pretty and reminds me my Mom is now free of earthly pain and in peace. My Yt family has really helped me through this. Thank you

on the 20th of March (my birthday) will be 6 yrs since my Daddy left us, Mama followed 6 months later

Patti ~ no matter how old we are when it happens, the passing of a parent is always so difficult. Especially one we've cherished so very much.

I am glad you are close-by to comfort your dad during this hard anniversary.

I 'm thinking of you today Patti,I know how hard it is to lose a wonderful Mother. I miss mine every single moment. It does get easier as time passes Patti.
It has been almost 5 years since I lost my Mom at times the pain feels like it was yesterday,HUGS!
