I didnt think monkeys could be sold anymore,, but found out differently,, when finding one for sale in a pet store not far from here,, a Marmoset ,, for like $7000 i think it was,, its still available,, lol,, i had to come home and google to see if it was legal to sell them,, WAY back when i was a teenager,,LOL,, a friend of mine had a spidermonkey named Funky,, and he was a trip! until he began to run with the "wrong crowd" (he took up with the cats) and ended up taking off with their TomCat,, on his rounds,, longer and longer rounds,, until one day the cat came home,, but no Funky,,,

there is a newer pet store in our town,Called Austin's Play House!! Austin is the owners pet monkey! He is there during the day, goes home w/ them at night! They have Chain link fence kennel in store for him! He has a sling to sleep in, a chair- and he is just so laid back! He is always dressed in Pants or shorts- and a shirt! I am really shocked at how quite he is!!! He is about 3 1/2 ft. tall - at least!!
BF some of his family had one years, years ago- he said it was nasty!
But this Austin is one cool, laid back dude!

They are cute, but I would not want one!I think they need to be left to live their life as a monkey was meant to!!

I was just on a website for one that said they wear diiapers and drink bottles how cute. They had some types of monkeys as low as $2000
