| I need help from the 50 and above crowd The other night mom and I got to discussing our favorite candy bar thats currently out and our current favorite of all time. Well she mentioned her most favorite when she was a little girl, but couldn't remember the name. I know of many sites where you can order old timey candy and would love to get her one as a surprise for mothers day. I've looked on the sites, and can't find anything that looks like what she was describing, but if I had a name of the candy, that would help. Here is what it is: It was a chocolate bar, and it was divided into several different pieces. You would break off one piece and it would have like peanuts in it, one piece would have a fruity thing, one piece would have caramel (i'm not 100% sure thats what the pieces had in them, but you get the general idea!)

| http://www.candywrappermuseum.com/oldsevenup.html thats it...but they no longer make them the skybar replaced it and it now has 4 peices same concept but just smaller i guess Sky bar chocolate bar is very similar to the old time retro candy bar called 7-Up. The sky bar however only has 4 different sections instead of 7 like the 7 up bar. Sky bars are divided into 4 sections with 4 great flavors, you get ... just want to try a sky bar and see how it rates to your old time retro 7-Up candy bar

| Well Darn, guess I'll have to find another cool gift for Mothers Day. Mom says she's had a Sky Bar, and it doesn't compare w/ 7Ups.... 7ups were the best I guess

| pearsons made them, they also made the bun candy bars(one of my all time favorites), but, they say they didn't sell very well, so did away with them, and were replaced by the sky bar(another one I never heard of).. |

| You guys now have me salivating for candy, and wouldn't you know I'm strickly on fruits and veggies till I lose the extra weight. I'm definately over 50, but haven't heard of the 7-up bar. Do you think it could have been put out by the company who makes 7-up sodas? I was in the dollar store once and right at the check out they have lots of candies, and some I haven't seen since I was in high school and aren't sold anywhere else. Maybe try there too. |
