It was our first snow of the year. The girls had so much fun. I know you people up north are sick of snow but we are enjoying it...but then we didn't have to drive and now school is closed tomorrow.

we got 6 inches of snow at our house new Haslet. All kids on our street had a 2 hour snowball fight.

Actually I think that we had a really weak winter here for us at least. I am praying for snow and for this ice to go away so I don't slip on my butt. I do like driving in it. I love the challange. So far 6 years since I got my drivers licence and still I have not been in an accident. LOL and knock on wood.

Well the snow completely missed us and is gone from our area now. YAY! I absolutely hate snow! I am so ready for summer!

I hate our winters, although they are not half as cold as yours, they are so dry and dusty!! Hate them, hate them

It gets really cold at night and in the early morning, so everyone dresses warmly, then by 12noon it's so hot you have to peel eveything off again, then by 4 its cold again. Most of the country is brown, grass, trees, plants (well most)

It's nearly here

Well I'm at work

No snow here- if you go 20 miles south or 20 miles east they have TONS of snow! Oh well, at least its Friday right? Is it spring yet???

Yep Patty... It's summer here still. We've had a funny summer, lots of rain, then no rain, then quite chilly, then very hot. Strange weather. I think we could be in for a weird winter too.

Patty, sorry I missed the thread earlier. Wasn't it wonderful? I have not seen snow like this in almost 20 years...maybe the end of March, 1989 it snowed like this. My boys kept wanting to go back out today but I made little Beau put on his warm fuzzy pj's and stay in. And Ziggy thinks there are mice under the house since it snowed...I hope not.
