Donating YT 11K Club Member | What can i do with my floors? I have old tiles that are just ugly and messed up but underneath them are wooden floors. I already started to take off the tile, they were coming off anyway. I think i want to keep the wood floors but they still have the glue from underneath the tiles and are all sticky. There's also some scratches on them from us taking them off. What can i do?

| my dad did this to my bedroom when I moved out. They sale glue removed at lowes to take the glue off... then sand them down and refinish them. |

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | there is a thing called goop remover at home depot and lowes..you can use that to get rid of the lingering glue. Then when you have the money get the wood sanded, repaired and stained.

| Ick! sounds like a big mess Another option is a floating laminate floor, you can install it right on top of your exisiting one.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Home depot rent sanders for doing floors. You could just take the glue off with a sander. I love real wood floors.

| When you go to Home Depot, ask to speak to someone that knows how to take up tile from wood flooring. They will have the experts on hand to tell you the process you will need to do. |
