Mascot I am sorry if it sounded like I was aiming that at you, because I most definetely was not.... It isn't in my personality to make conflict, How do you like Japan? My husband and I may be stationed there one day.... it is coming down to a few differnet spots in September and Washington is one of them which has an attachment of Japan. I think I would have a good time there... I hear the beaches are to die for.... Thank you for responding but there really was no underlying message for you, I promise! ;) Dot PS I also appreciate that the link you posted didnt have the actual act of the crime in it... that showed me right off the back that you put thought into what you are posting.... Thank you. |
^^^I didnt take it like you were aiming it at me :) I just realized that I may have come across that way ;) Japan is great, but there are SO many restrictions on service members....If you can the Tokyo area is great, the only thing is the quarantine laws have changed for pets Zama Vet They should be able to give you more direction for when you head out here with Mascot. Also, The link my hubby actually sent me, because he knew I would have flipped seeing the video, but wanted me to be able to read what had happened and what K-Bay HQ were doing about it. :) Thanks again!!! :D Lisa |
Here is the article from today's local paper. I feel so bad for his family. http://www.heraldnet.com/article/200...lash.is.fierce |
OMG, I shouldn't have watched the video. The news article said that there is still talk that the puppy isn't real. If it is, then he's a horrible person. Period. |
I heard about it but def. do not want to see it, i will cry if i see it! And am so mad if this is real! :( Poor puppy! I hope he pays for it:thumbdown |
He needs to be punished and made an example of..serving ones country does NOT mean you can act like that...its the same situation with Iraqi prisoners being treated badly imo...give respect, get respect.. |
If that's true, it's horrible. But isn't it sad that the only things the press likes to show us are the bad things. When's the last time you saw the good that's going on over there? When it was bad over there we had daily reports of it but now, with things going well over there we hear nothing. The silence lately has been deafening. Oh but wait, finally there's something bad to report! Don't get me wrong, I think this act with the puppy is horrible and I'm not saying it shouldn't be reported. I just would like to finally see some of the good things reported too. The bias of the main stream press is deplorable. There are good and bad in every walk of life, including unfortunately even in our military. But most are good:) |
Mascot I guess i just took a different spin on it.... I see it as he was a bad person that did a bad thing, I didnt take it as just becasue he was a "military" person he thought he was above the law... but maybe he thought he was untouchable in Iraq in that uniform... I see what your saying. It was a terrible situation and I hope he is punished to a severe extent. I can't believe what he did to the poor baby, and I hate that he disrespected the US Military because the great mean and women in uniform constantly have to defend themselves for the small amout of idiots.... :( Dot Great post Tammyh!!!!!! |
When I watched the video (without sound...for some reason hearing it makes it harder for me than just watching it), I didn't really think it was a real puppy. I mean, I've never picked a puppy up by the scruff like that, but I would expect it to do something...anything...not just hang there. Unless that's what they do. Maybe its just wishful thinking my part...hoping that no one could actually do that. Either way, even PRETENDING is sick and this man needs to be put away before he does it again (or before he does it for real, depending on what is actually happening in the video). |
