| Would you do it? I have a chance to get a free purebred, one year old female pug from someone. I wasn't really looking for a pug, I am wanting a yorkie--as my name says--but this little girl must need a home. Would you do it? Also they have a mini doxie that is 2 1/2 years old they are giving away. Both are purebreds. I don't know what conditions are yet. Will find out after 2:30 p.m. today.

| That sounds awesome. Pugs are so cute and I LOVE doxies. Good luck in whatever you decide to do.

| I would take the Pug because I like them (depending on if it is healthy and if you have enough money for vet bills if it isn't). If I could only have one dog it would be a Yorkie.

| I already have 3 dogs and my husband doesn't really care how many I have. And since my dad died in September, he knows how important it is to me to have my doggies.

| I like pugs. A friend had one who was a real character. I wouldn't be able to resist if she was needing a home. Can't you still get a Yorkie later? As well? This probably sounds a really stupid question, but what is a doxie? Is it a dachshund? |

| I would do it. If you fall in love with them great, if you dont you can always find a loving home that wants them. Assuming the family that has them now are yucky. |

Donating YT 10K Club Member | If I truly wanted a yorkie, then no I wouldn't accept another breed. Now were the question...would I add another to my yorkies...then yes.

| Here's what happened, the guy decided to give the pug to his best friend because she has a house. And since she is keeping it there, he is going to breed her while she's there and then he is going to sell the puppies to "us" for a good price. My daughter was crushed when she found out she couldn't even meet Roxie. So we didn't get the pug.

| That story sounds familiar. Did I read this in another post or just something similar awhile back? Anway, I think you should get what you wanted.

| I was answering someone who wondered if I had gotten the pug. Someone else got the doxie. I am getting a little maltese. She is a retired show dog who was also a breeding dog too. Her name is Angelique and she is 7 years old. She needed a good home with a stable family.
