I hear you! We live near several large cities, but we live on the "mountain." I have actually had a cab driver tell me he wouldn't drive me home!

Cabs can be expensive too!

I just got home from work about a half hour ago. I never have a life on the weekends because I wait tables friday and saturday night. Ok, so I never have a life anyway, but it is a good excuse! I still don't know hardly any people in this area. Thank goodness for YT to keep me company!

Didn't you rent movies and have pizza the other night Stormy? That always sounds like a good night to me! We have Zodiac from Netflix right now, maybe I can convince the BF to watch it with me.

I did! Tonight I went out early (5:30ish) with a friend for mexican food, and didn't want to rent or buy movies again, so I'm jsut sitting at home, having a few beers, watching late night,hoping Laney and SLade wear out soon and are ready to go to bed!

I am in the same boat, waiting for my pups to wind down. And the BF. And I still have to feed my fish tonight, so I'll be up for a while longer. Looks like I need to break out a bottle of wine.

Does it count as drinking with your friends if you are both drinking in front of your computer together?

Good! Because I drink in front of YT a lot!

Well, not a lot, but I have a beer cooler next to my computer, so I often break out one or two at the end of the night. And we don't have any tv channels just movies so I spend more time in front of the computer than other places.

I think that as long as I am not turning down plans on a Friday for YT, then I don't have a problem!

lol. We have "country cable" so we have like 3 channels (abc, fox, and cbs)!

All my friends graduated before me and moved, so I haven't had to turn down plans in awhile. Can't wait til we move and make new friends!!!

Emma likes to drink too...only she likes wine, particularly red

We discovered this when she was a puppy, and took off with a cork from a bottle we had just opened! We don't give her any to drink, of course, but DH likes to stick his finger in his glass and let her lick a few drops
