Has anyone tried Everyday Minerals? You can go to their website and request a sample..you get 1 concealer, 3 foundations, and 1 blush and all you pay for is shipping. I just got mine last week and I LOOOVE it! It works so much better for my oily face than BE did. Try it!

Everyday Minerals is awesome!! Alot of people choose that over Bare Minerals.

Wow, thanks for posting this. I hadn't heard of this company. I'm going to order samples for my daughter. I can't decide between the matte and intensive finish though. Which do you recommend?

Matte if she likes the smooth flawless non shimmery skin.

Intensive Finish has a little bit of shimmer. It makes you look like you're glowing. When you get in the sunlight your skin will sparkle a little bit.

I am an Asian too and I use Medium Beige by bare escentuals !!! Try out the starter kit, I think it is around $60....

as far as eye makeup, mac by far has the best shadows (and lip glosses! i love lipglass). i love love love cover girl's lash blast (orange tube..7.99 retail) mascara. i use the very black waterproof and it makes my short asian lashes much longer and prominent. i used christian dior's diorshow mascara before lash blast and i love cover girl better.

i'm interested in trying bare minerals because i've heard a lot about it, so let me know how it goes!! =)

I am Asian too!! And I use Medium Beige by bare escentuals. It is good..give you very natural coverage...

I use:
foundation- bare minerals (a friend tried sheer cover & said she hated it-too sparkly)
during the summer sometimes I use just a tinted moisurizer my fav two are cg smoothers & sonia kashuks from target
eyeshadows- mary kay
mascara- estee lauder
Three things I would never want to be stranded without would be the clinique moisturizer (yellow tube) my cg concealer & estee lauder bronzer
blush- anything by nars (fav penny lane)
lipstick- anything by nars or for cheap I love rimmel
glosses- I love burt's bees (fav color-nutmeg)

Lipgloss: Bare minerals buxom lips, Dior
Eye liner: Urban Decay, I have the potion that turns any shadow into an eyeliner so my fav. eyeshadows double as eyeliners!
Lip liner: Mary Kay
Mascara: Dior
