Donating YT 3000 Club Member | Disney Resorts! Has anyone stayed at the POP Century resort??? I'm planning a trip on mid April for 4 days and 3 nights and at first was thinking about staying at a moderate resort, but it's going to be too much money... plus I'm not gonna be at the hotel most of the day, so I just want a comfy bed. I stayed at the All Star Music last year and I think it was fine, I would like a microwave but non of the hotels offer that. I'm thinking about going to any of the All Starts or the POP century, but I'm having a hard time deciding... any hotel reviewers here??? |

| Pop Century is definately better than the All-Star resorts. Pop Century is the newest of the values. All three of the All-Star resorts share the same buses while Pop Century has its own. Also, Pop Century is a little cheaper (with tax) because it's in a different county. It's not my favorite Disney resort, but it's very nice for the money. We are staying there when we go to Disney in March. If you have any specific questions about the resort, let me know and I'll help you if I can. ETA: If you are booking a package (room + tickets) you should be able to get free water park and park hopping with code APV.

I know it's not gonna be my favorite either, because so many of the other resorts are just stunning!!!! but I cannot affort them now... I once stayed at the Animal Kingdom logde for 1 night and I loved it!!, It's true about the buses, I hate that when I was taking the bus at the all stars it had to stop at the other hotels too! bummer!!!! | |

If you are driving you avoid the buses completely and park at the parks for free since you are staying at a Disney hotel.

| We had booked a room for Pop Century but just recently moved our reservation over to Caribbean Beach. I think it's only a matter of how much you plan to stay around the resort. Last time we went we stayed at CBR (loved it!) but didn't really spend much time enjoying the resort, this time we want to. We are planning on going end of March/early April.

| We stayed at Pop century last year and will be staying there this year. We stay at the Pop when we do the parks. Then we go to a moderate or a deluxe when we have time to hang around the resort. I love the pop for the price. Last year we only slept and showered at the resort we were at the parks the rest of the time. I cant see paying the price for a deluxe or a moderate when you are doing the parks. We would be gone all day. I love the food court and the gift shopp at the pop also
