The Cost of Gasoline Just curious how much everyone is paying for gas, what kind of you have and how much it costs to fill up. On my way to work this morning I passed 2 gas stations. Regular unleaded was $3.29 at one and $3.21 at the other. It's gonna cost me about $50 to fill my Firebird. My sig other has an Eddie Bauer Explorer and I don't even want to know what he's going to pay.:( |
$3.14 here in michigan gos up and down each day wish they would just make up their minds and stick to one price:( |
Um 3.01 right now . I buy the cheap stuff lol. In my Suburban 30.00 gives me 1/2 tank and in the VW Beatle 10.00 gives me between 1/4 and 1/2. I rarely ever drive the VW which is not very smart. Its just so hard to get use to a little bitty car when your use to something that big.:( |
I guess we're pretty lucky here in Colorado. I have to get the premium stuff for my car ('97 Eclipse GST) and that's $3.03. I would say only since its one of the cheaper places, but that is still a lot for one gallon IMO Thankfully I can take the bus to and from work which helps a lot. |
i think i paid $3.07 for premium yesterday. |
$2.87 in Austin but going towards Georgetown (neighboring city) there's this store that has it for $2.64, which my mother goes to.... |
Regular is anywhere from $3.15 to $3.19 a gallon and mid grade is $ 3.25. Having to pay those high prices really cuts into how much you can spend on other things every week. |
It's 3.19 for the regular 87 over here. I takes me almost $40 to fill my little nissan sentra and it takes almost $70 to fill my nissan pathfinder. |
Was $2.98 when I filled up Wednesday night, at $3.07 yesterday morning, and $3.14 when I got off work yesterday afternoon - .16 jump in 24 hours:( |
It was $3.18 for regular when I went past the gas station today. It has jumped almost 20 cents the past two days. I have a Ford Bronco (which I haven't driven in about a yr b/c its broken down in SC), that thing only gets like 10 mile to the gallon :thumbdown I'm kind of glad I don't have it right now, mom either drives me, or I borrow her truck which is a small ford ranger that gets really good gas milage and thankfully most people that I work for live within 2 miles of my house, my campus is only about 6 miles away, and mom's work is right next to campus. |
Yesterday it was $3.07. |
just went up from $2.73 to $2.95 |
www.gasbuddy.com $3.29 here on Long Island, I have friends who actually go to NJ once a week to fill up. With the tolls being what they are ($6-$8 on the GW bridge RT & $4.50 each way on the connecting bridges).... that would be $15.00 - $17.00 in tolls just to save 20¢ on a gallon of gas. Not worth it. The NYC - LI area is way too expensive. Costs about $40-45 to fill up my JEEP. Seems Wyoming is good today. And Phoenix, AZ http://www.gasbuddy.com/ gas prices for today... 10 Lowest By State Wyoming 2.906 New Jersey 2.934 Missouri 2.978 Utah 2.985 Idaho 2.988 Arizona 3.010 South Carolina 3.025 Delaware 3.028 New Hampshire 3.037 Minnesota 3.044 10 Lowest By City Phoenix 2.883 Tucson 2.925 Salt Lake City 2.935 Trenton 2.970 Denver 2.975 Boise 2.979 Colorado Springs 2.981 Twin Cities 2.986 Las Vegas 2.986 Corpus Christi 2.987 |
Ack!! $3.42 in Apple Valley, California.....I hate to see what it is in LA!! |
$ 2.97 a gallon Here in DesMoines,Ia. |
I just paid $3.47/gallon today:eek: Of course, it's premium, I drive a 97 DeVille, so I can't use the cheap stuff:( I already had 7 gallons and it cost me almost $50 to fill up:mad: I hate this crap, and meanwhile, the oil companies are raking in RECORD profits:thumbdown |
I have a Chevy Trailblazer and for 3/4's of a tank it was $40 @ $3.01 a gallon. Which isn't toooo bad. Now, DH has a '07 F-350 Dually, that's closer to $110 to fill up. I'm not complaining, yet, thankfully DH pays for my gas. Well, technically his company does. I've been all over the country in the last 6 months and Oklahoma seems to have just as high gas prices as many of the big dogs. Which makes no sense, because they refine much of the oil in OK. |
1 Attachment(s) i'm not sure what the cost is around here...I think regular is like $3.09 or something. but I saw this and thought it was funny :D |
Three days ago it was $2.69. Today it's $3.03. |
I paid $3.15 here today. It cost almost $70 to fill my pickup! |
Somebody Tell Me If I'm Doing This Right!!! I just went to the gas station (in Canada) and payed 1.06/liter in gas. It cost me in the 90s to fill the tank. There are 3.78 liters in a gallon. So by my calculations we are paying 1.06*3.78=4.0068/gallon? Are you guys really getting it gas that much cheaper? The dollar is almost 1 to 1 (I haven't checked in a while) but are we getting ripped off here in canada? Did I calculate this right? Even at 3.29/gallon thats only 0.87/liter which we have not seen in years. :( Imagine paying 100$ to fill your SUV. I know I should get a smaller car etc.. etc... but we need one gas guzzler in the house for a medical reason. |
