Today paid £1.09 a litre.

I reckon that's roughly just over $8 a gallon
About $6 of that is fuel tax to our grasping government :(

OMG! $8 in England!!! I don't know what most of you are whining about (LOL!). I just paid $3.31 for regular unleaded.

We're at about $3 a gallon. What makes me sick is that one of my dreams for retirement (in 15 years) would be to drive around the country in an RV. Could you imagine how much gas will be then?

i filled up a few days ago,, @ $2.69 a gallon the next morning,,, noticed the same station was up to $2.99 a gallon,, regular we're just south of Fort Worth TX here,,

$3.09 two days ago...don't know what it is today....I imagine it went up though....It went up last week .16 in two days..

We are at like $3.07 here in MA/NH area. It costs me about $36 to fill up my Cavalier, but it lasts for about 8 - 10 days (even with a 50+ mile a day commute) so I dont complain too much, but I SOOOO miss the days that it cost $15 to fill up the tank - 7 years ago when I bought the car! Im glad I have such an economic car though!

Does anybody remember when you could put $2 in the tank and cruise all night. My happy teenage years!

I work for the largest oil company in the world (ExxonMobil) and we have little control over the price of gas.

Of course it does depend on the price of gas in 15 years - but it still probably will be cheaper to travel in an RV than travel and stay in motels and eat out all the time.

Gas fluctuates daily around here....one day $2.99 and today it was up to $3.14...can't win...and I even traded in my SUV for one that gets better gas mileage and still paying almost $35.00 to fill it up. :mad:

Mike you'll be needing a bike to go cross-country with a basket and side car so you can take the doggies...lol. :D

I just paid $3.21/gallon at BJs yesterday....I couldn't bring myself to fill up and only put $35 worth of gas in my car.:( Heard on the local news here that by the summer gas is expected to be $4.00/gallon!:eek:

It is about that price here too $3.22 or so (give or take depending on station). Our local news did a story tonight too about the gas spike coming soon! :eek: That sucks (sorry) when you drive a huge SUV!

Can anyone believe threat of $4.00 in summer? Will think nothing about today prices. Wonder if our Yorkies could ride on bikes in a back pack, since all our extra money is for them Outfits, toys, food, treats. We should all pass the word to refuse to fill up at Exxon Mobil. Profits are off the chart.

Today we paid 3.79 near the nc/sc border. A few blocks away from where I live (in the boonies) it's 3.99. I really believe this is partly retaliation because of the war. I feel so bad for the people that barely get by. :(

:eek::eek: wow ....it's SICKENING ! I think we're almost at $4 in Houston ....I swear - we are getting so screwed with the cost of living these days - I don't know how a family with kids gets by.....
