| Photography Advise I want to start taking better pictures, or at least know more about how & equipment. I don't have fancy equipment but I have a really good digital camera (10 megapixel). I've had some of my pics published in a fundraiser calendar (free). And I've had lots of complements on my pics. Just curious, does anyone know where to learn more about photography? A good website? Magazine? Contests? Just amateur stuff & as a hobby, I don't want to become world famous or anything. LOL. I googled and got some sites but just in case anyone knows of anything any info is appreciated. |

| community college digital camera courses are awesome! Last class I took though was a photoshop class I'm planning on enrolling to a digi photo. class as soon as it opens up next semester. I like to go to barnes and nobles and get the digital photography magazine series, you get alot of idea's from shots in there and tutorials etc. (and cheaper than the photography books). I also signed up to photoshopuser.com, they have loads of photography tutorials and retouching etc. in Photoshop! Unfortunately it's pay by year to get the magazines and access all the content, but they have a forum/community/tutorials/videos etc. <3

| One of the best books I got is called The Digital Photography Book by Scott Kelby,,, It has step by step secrets how to do all kinds of photography. It tells you exactly how to set the features on your camera. I got it on Amazon
