community college digital camera courses are awesome! Last class I took though was a photoshop class
I'm planning on enrolling to a digi photo. class as soon as it opens up next semester.
I like to go to barnes and nobles and get the digital photography magazine series, you get alot of idea's from shots in there and tutorials etc. (and cheaper than the photography books).
I also signed up to photoshopuser.com, they have loads of photography tutorials and retouching etc. in Photoshop!
Unfortunately it's pay by year to get the magazines and access all the content, but they have a forum/community/tutorials/videos etc.
