I love fried dill pickle spears!!! We had our first one at a southern catfish place a few years back...and they were yummy!!! My grandmother made some once and they were just as good!

Living in Texas myself, I do have to say that sometimes there is nothing better than some good old southern trashy food!

Count me in! Have you ever had the fried blue cheese stuffed olives at Frankies? I always think, that sounds so gross it must be good.

I've never gotten them though.

Lets see, Olives...CHECK.... Blue Cheese....CHECK, CHECK.....Fried Foods....CHECK, CHECK, CHECK.....ha, ha...I am sure I would love them.
Okay here I am talking about all this horrible foodsand I am supossed to be low carb and low sugar dieting - ha, ha!!

I know I love all three too- I have had the blue cheese stuffed olives (not fried) from Pettys- YUMMY! Frying certainly never hurt the taste of anything.

ETA- Okay, you're dieting and I gained 7 pounds quitting smoking and am dieting too. I say when we reach our goal weights we do a fried tour of Melbourne!

My brother made me try them when I went to visit him once while he was in college (except they called them pickle chips). I thought it sounded gross but tried them anyway. They were sooooooooo good!!

I LOVE fried pickles. My bubbeh used to make those for us on Shabbat eve. Yum tum! I think cause it shut us up from bothering the grown ups.

You can get them at the kosher deli here in town.

OH I have had those from Pettys...they are GOOOOODDDD!!!!

I have a feeling I am not going to reach my goal weight untill I get my lazy butt back in the gym.

I need to start back but I just can not motivate myself. I say once you reach your goal weight I will go on that fried tour with you

- ha, ha...otherwise we will never go since I can not seem to loose this extra baggage I have - hee, hee - LOL!!
