| Love the poem. I'm actually in sort of a relationship this year, as opposed to the other 23 yrs of my life when I was single on Valentines day. He txted me this morning at 3am to tell me "happy valentines day", but considering he's 2400 miles away and currently unemployed thats probably all I"ll be getting! |

| I am married to a wonderful man but still HATE valentines day. We have never celebrated it really as I am not a fan of acting one way to someone on one particular day....I should be treated like a princess EVERYDAY - LOL!!! Okay yea right....keep wishing ...I know - ha, ha!!

Today, I decided maybe I should go against being totally anti-Valentine & make this a LOVE MYSELF / PAMPER MYSELF DAY. So to fight my anti-Valentine mood, I put on red and even pinned on an inner-locking heart broach and went out the door. At a huge business luncheon, I was almost the only woman wearing red in the room. I received numerous comments on how pretty & festive I looked -- comments from both men & women and several men commented on my broach. (Here I was thinking I looked a little corny - so all these compliments put a smile on my face ) In the end, my choice of outfit helped me feel better for the day.Downside, some guy asked for my business card, could tell there was a reason & the goofball already emailed me at work Join me on YT tonight for the anti-Valentine's ball - no bawling involved folks!!!
