I passed out several times when I was pregnant w/my son Hunter. I went through a battery of test and they found nothing! It started happening around 8 wks and by 12-14 weeks it never happened again. Although I would get very light headed my entire pregnancy. good luck and please let us know what happens. Hopefully it will be nothing big! |
How scary I will keep you in my prayers :hands: |
I hope they figure out what it is. I had really high blood pressure while pregnant with my son, sometimes it would get so high I would break out with hives all over. I also got light headed a lot. Never passed out while pregnant though, but I have passed out before. I had to go on blood pressure medicine. I still have problems sometimes. They also think I may have MVP. I haven't been tested yet, but I have a family history of heart problems. I will be keeping you in my prayers. Try not to be to stressed, I know easier said than done. :) |
I hope everything's ok.. I will be praying for you |
Sure hope everything will be o.k. You are in my prayers. Janelles |
OMG sweetie! How scary! I hope they find the cause and fix it quickly, hang in there! |
Prayers coming your way sweet Mandee. Hope everything is ok. |
Prayers going up for you:hands: It's probably the normal pregnancy glitch, but I'm glad that you're getting it checked out. Try not to worry too much until you know what's going on;) It might be nothing, I was lightheaded for the first trimester with both of my pregnancies. |
I hope everything is ok. I thought that passing out was a symptom of being pregnate? I remember hearing that years ago. |

This same thing happend to my friend Michelle when she was pregnant with ALL THREE OF HER DAUGHTERS!! She would pass out every single day (it wasn't always in the shower though), sometimes twice in one day! I don't know what caused it but her 3 girls were born healthy and with no problems whatsoever. Best of luck to you. :p Please let us know what the doctor says. |
Did they check your iron? (sorry if this was already brought up..I didn't read thru it all)....my daughter was passing it and they said it was more than likely that she was very low on iron...they did blood work and tested for all sorts of things....she is taking her multi vitamin and then iron pills for two months to see if this helps. And if not, then we go in for other tests. Are you taking prenatal vitamins? |

Mandee you are in my thoughts and prayers, I hope everything in fine:) I get very dizzy and sick when my sugar drops, So i Know its very scary. HUGS!! |
I will keep you in my prayers! I have really bad panic disorder and that's my main symptom -- I get tingly, numb, and really dizzy and can't see straight -- but I've never actually passed out. I can relate to how scary the feelings are though. Big hugs to you and good luck at your appointment! <3 |

I did pass out once when I was preg. My Husband and I was in the grocery store and all of sudden I wasnt feeling good and I told him I was going to the car and half way through I was so dizzy I had to have a lady help me to a bench in the store I couldnt make it to the car, it was so scary and that was the only time it happened. Just be very careful in the shower.. Kristi |
I hope it's nothing serious! I will pray for you and the baby |

Oh No, how awful! I hope you are not getting that flu that is causing the schools to close. I hope you start feeling better soon and that it is not anything too serious!!! |
Oh my gosh. I wonder if it could be orthostatic hypotension. That is when your blood pressure suddenly drops - it usually happens after suddenly standing up from sitting. But, you could also have a blood pressure drop in the shower due to warm/hot water - as it causes your blood vessels to dilate and then your blood pressure drops. Your heart rate then increases, trying to get your pressure up. You can black out/faint and everything. Does it sound like that at all? In any case, my thoughts are with you - and I hope all turns out well. |
Sending prayers for you...Keep us posted on what the cardiologist says.... |

I'll be praying for you, Mandee! It's scary when things like that happen and I'm glad you're seeing a cardiologist and can get this figured out. Someone else mentioned a sudden drop in blood pressure and that's the first thing that came to mind when I read your thread. Sending hugs and best wishes! I'll be checking for updates. You better not take a shower unless there's someone there to help you if it happens again! |
I'm sorry you are having to worry about this. Poor thing!!!! I will definitely pray for you. Have they check your iron levels? I know I'm anemic and if I don't take my iron my body does all kinds of weird things. Please let us know ASAP what's going on. |
