Prayers Please....
 
My 3 month old grandson, Mason, has been ill and throwing up. He is getting dehydrated and now seems to be getting a respiratory infection. Dr. is watching him closely. Last night his daddy, Brian (my son) was rushed to the emergency room and was there for hours. They are not sure if it is a stomach virus or food poisoning. To say the least, Mom (Laura) is going on NO sleep. We are bringing Mason home to spend the night with us. Meanwhile, my other son's daughter, Karis, was admitted to the hospital this afternoon. She has the flu and has gotten very dehydrated. Her mom is still recovering from surgery last Fri for endemetrosis. They removed her right ovary because she had a tumor the size of a lime. I'm not a lot of help because I am recovering from emergency gall bladder removal surgery and still not supposed to lift anything. Please send us some prayers.

Oh my gosh Patty, I'm so sorry. That is just TOO MUCH!!! My family has had both the GI upset (both ends) and respiratory crud. Fortunately, my granddaughter is 14 months old, but we had to watch her very very closely for signs of dehydration. Fortunately, we didn't have to take her to the hospital, but it was close. Every member of my family had the GI stuff. Now, my daughter's family has the respiratory crud. It is just awful.

I hope things improve quickly for everyone! Take care of yourself too!

OMG Patty! I will be praying for my, I mean "your" little Mason and the rest of your family. Sounds like an AWFUL bug!!! Please know you and your family are in my thoughts. Please update when you get a chance (on each one). Big hugs and huge prayers coming your way friend.

Prayers for Mason and the entire family. I know the flu is horrid this year -- actually, I heard that there are 3 different flu viruses this year & you can get all 3!! (The flu vaccine does protect against them all)

I'm so sorry Patty. It's one thing to feel terrible after surgery and try to heal on a " normal " day, but with all this weighing on your mind too...

Thanks for the prayers. They mean so much to me. Just an update. They have now put Mason in the hospital too. So now we have Karis in one hospital and Mason in another.....so please keep those prayers coming. You all are my family and your thoughts and prayers mean the world to me.
