| Donating YT 500 Club Member | We have been using a friend that is a CPA. He never charges us, but I send him a couple hundred. From what I read, this sounds cheap? Maybe I should send more? My sister-in-law is a CPA also, does most of the family for $50. |

| I do my son's with the EZ forms and do hubbies and mine with Turbo tax. It was costing us $175 so I do them now.

| We do ours online. We only have 2 w-2's. One of my bro in laws insist on doing the money back quickly route. I just don't see giving up some of my money to get it back a little quicker.

| I am a CGA and pay to have ours done and that way I dont get hauled into doing everyone elses. I just say that the tax laws change and I dont have time to keep up on personal income tax . Works for me , I dont mind helping anyone out but dont want to be the one they come back at if something goes wrong .

| We have someone do it. Trust me, if I had a clue on how to do it, I'd do it myself [sure would save a bunch!]... DH and I are in two totally different fields and this guy knows ALL the deductibles on both our sides!

| we have state farm, so do ours for free online (turbo tax), takes less than an hour. H&R Block messed ours up the 1 time they did them, we got audited because of the mistakes..so, then we used a CPA, but, that was getting expensive...we just decided 2 years ago to start doing them ourselves and I love it.. |

| You should try the turbo tax, it walks you through all the way..If my 23 year old son can do his own with it, I'm sure you can too |

| We use TaxCut ... My dad used TurboTax for years ... I did them both one year side-by-side ... basically flipped a coin and use TaxCut now (they're just about identical). Anyways ... he used to send them off to his accountant friend to double check ... and he never made changes, so they don't get sent off anymore. Wife and my taxes are complicated this year, but honestly, the program can handle what we've thrown its way ... |

| We go to a CPA and have ours done. We have our own business so I would not know where to begin. It is hard enough for me to have to figure up all the deductions and figure up all the 1099's. I am a wreck at tax time I hate it..... |

| Hubby uses Turbo Tax...Had our taxes done once by a Professional and was shock at how much it cost.....The problem I have this year is...If we wanted to file electronically it was going to cost us $60.00 and we still would not get an immediate refund...because it took so long for Wisconsin to pass their budget the refunds are going to be extremely late.....they were asking people not to send in anything until the middle of Febraury.... It really makes me mad that they are charging to file electronically....you would think that going paperless would be easier and more "green" (earth friendly) |
