Does the man in your life cook?? and do you like it?.....I was wondering this as I was cooking my billionth meal......Sometimes I feel like I beat McDonald's record for meals served........I typically do all the cooking and sometimes it gets so tiring trying to accommodate everyones tastes....Heaven forbid it if someone eats a different vegetable than a green bean....... I kind of envy those women whose man who's not afraid to grab his tongs and get cooking.....If my husband ever cooked for me I'd be eating fried boloney sandwiches, that would be his version of a gourmet meal.....Oh, and if he added a piece of cheese that would be a super premo meal........Somebody stop him!!....Emeril look out!!!......Are you so lucky??? |
My hubby LOVES to cook. He thinks he is Emeril. He is a great cook too. He actually does most of the cooking because he loves it. It got on my nerves at first because he was always in my way in the kitchen, so I just left the kitchen and let him do it all and he does great. He can make anything. His specialty is chili, and pizza. He makes the best pizza I have ever had anywhere. |
My husband cooks on the grill. In fact when we go camping, he cooks or we eat out.:D |

My bf cooks all the time. He wants to be a chef so that's why he is always doing it. If i try to do something he will take over and finish cooking, lol sometimes its annoying when i try to cook. I actually gained like 5 lbs cause of his cooking lol so im trying to lose it now |
yes he doesn't trust me to do so i reckon |
My hubby has been doing the cooking for years. I worked evenings and he worked days when the kids were little so he made them dinner. Then when they got older and I worked days he got home at 3:30 and I got home at 6, so he still cooked. Now I'm retired but he still cooks half the time! He really enjoys it. I hate it. I'd much rather clean up! He is a better cook than I am, but I will try new things more often. |
I just finished eating dinner...that my hubby cooked lol. He makes yummy food! He also does laundry, mops floors, does beds etc. very helpful:) |
Hubby sometimes cooks if we are eating something super easy. LOL Other than that I do it. ;) |
You guys are so lucky!......If I had to leave town for a week I'd come back and find my husband passed out on the floor from starvation with a can in one hand and a screwdriver in the other....... |

My daughters fiance cooks but she's not thrilled...he thinks butter is a vegetable.....she said everything is swimming in oil.....not good for the waist line..... |
Hubby cooks whevever he gets a chance...He does really good. I just prefer to keep him away from the kitchen since he makes a huge mess:p |
Yes but the events are very far and few...lol. Funny because when people ask he always gets defensive and says I can cook...so I am like why the hell don't you. :D |

I met my BF when he was a cook at the restaurant I worked at. He cooks a lot around here, just because he likes it. But truthfully, I am a better cook than he is. He tends to rush into things, and doesn't have any patience. But when we go camping, we cook on the fire and in the dutch oven. He was an eagle scout. :D |

My hubby and I usually cook together. It works out much better for us that way. Tonight we had tacos. While I was cooking the meat and sides, he was getting all of the "toppings" ready (chopping tomatoes and shredding lettuce, etc.) and making sure the table looked nice and perfect. :) Then we clean up together. Most nights he does the meat and I do all the "extras". It just depends though. When I was working last summer and he was looking for a job, I would come home to a great dinner every evening, laundry clean, folded, and put away, and a perfectly clean house. It was great! |
My DH doesnt mind cooking, infact he likes to cook... I end up cooking, a few days and he does the others... Now cleaning toilets, thats another story...lol :D |

I do the majority of the cooking because I enjoy it. But my husband and I have a deal, as long as were are both working full time we have to share the household duties. For instance, when I cook, he does the dishes. On those nights when I am "not feeling it," he is capable enough to whip something up! Of course, then I have to do the dishes. |

My DH cooks, cleans, does laundry, shops, takes care of the furbabies and is wonderful. He is a really great cook, and is very organized and cleans up as he goes. (Would you guess he is a Virgo) :) I think I'll keep him around, :) so far its been 33 years. In the meantime I do work a 40 hour week. It sure does help to have him do everything cause then when I get home from work we can "play"....with the pups or do whatever we want to do... |
OH YAH.... mine cooks.... PPFffft... if he didnt we would have chicken strips & french fries every night of chili dogs or something like that. And YES.... I love his cooking & him for doing it :D |
