I think I am the lucky one.....Hubby does 95% of all cooking.....And it is wonderful...The things he can make....And all from scratch....No box mixes around here..lol The kids are always "dropping by" around dinner time just to see what is for dinner.... And he does almost all of the grocery shopping.... I have to do the clean up....But I think it is a small price to pay... Joyce BTW He does not do housework or yard work...But that is okay with me... |
Thomas is a great cook. I let him in the kitchen any time he likes :) |
My hubby can cook if he wants, they maybe very simple meals, but hey our family loves them. and he can grill up one mean steak on the barby! |
My dad cooks all the meals. Matter of fact the man gets up and makes mom coffee before she goes to work and packs her lunch. He has dinner ready for her when she comes home and serves her both when she comes in....talk about lucky. |
Well mine cooks on the grill but other than that meals are mostly up to me. |
My wife and I work different schedules and almost never have time to eat meals together. So I cook for myself, and she cooks for herself. Weird, but it works. She's a good cook. I follow recipes. I love her cooking, but it's fattening. She hates mine, but it's healthy. Go figure. The odd couple. |
damn straight -l- 'cause I don't and we'd all starve if I tried. Everything I can make comes out of a box  |
Yes........My husband does cook and is a very good cook, he is awesome on the grill. We BBQ every Sunday. I also have my youngest daughter at home, she works & goes to school..........she LOVES to cook!! And let me tell you the girl can cook!!! She is always trying new recipes!! |

Jimmie is the more domestic one. He cooks, cleans though he grumbles I don't do my share. He's a neat freak where I am not. He is a much better cook than I am. I don't have the patience though he likes most of the things I cook. I tend to experiment. Reminds me...we once had a beagle who would head for the back door if he saw me put a pot on the stove. |
Well.. my man claims he cooks, but seeing as how we are in differnet time zones still, I have no way to prove it. His mom says he cooks though. BUt based on the times we've talked and what he's cooking at the times, I will probably end up cooking for myself most nights anyway.. |
My husband cooks everyday. He is the pickiest eater ever. Seriously he doesn't like a lot of things. I'm not so picky so he cooks this way we're both happy:D |
When he worked more flexible hours and I worked full time he cooked, and the food was good. Now I stay home except a couple days for 4 hrs and he works more hours and I cook. |
I cook probably 75% of our meals ... Wife doesn't hate cooking but doesn't looooove it either. She likes to bake, and I don't really bake. |
My hubby started cooking when my kids were small and I got a second shift job that lasted 16 years. But he loves to cook. Now the kids are married and gone and he still cooks, does laundry and all the food shopping. I just automaticly ask him what's for supper. Now my oldest son does the cooking for his family. They are both great cooks. And I'm a very lucky lady. |
my husband cooks! hes really good at it too... I have gotten some good recipies from him lol Im one of the lucky ones too my hubby helps with cleaning too ;) I know I am lucky and I feel like I deserve him! :p lol |
Wow, I am coming back to this thread after going to bed and I can't believe the men that are cooking!!.....I thought most would be like mine....an egg sandwich it his complete recipe file...... Now, my son cooks and he likes it, and he's pretty good at it, he will ask me for advice as he goes....one night he wanted to deep fry fries ( he usually does oven fried ) I was already in bed so he couldn't ask me, I come down in the morning and find a large pan of oil on the stove with fries uncooked in it, yuk...I asked him what happened and he told me he used olive oil to deep fry in, needless to say he learned a important lesson.....I see he's going to make some woman very happy..... |
My guy claims he can cook... Ive only been with him a month or so and he has not done it yet... so we'll see! Hes good at going out to eat, so at least he can provide a meal, but I dunno about home cooking yet! :) My ex NEVER cooked, for the 4 years we lived together I did almost all the cooking... once in a blue moon hed make something... he cooked great actually, I wish he did it more. I cook to eat, not to enjoy LOL I hate cooking so usually its a quick throw it in a pan and 10 mins later its edible (not good, just edible) HAHA |

My hubby will try, and sometimes he does ok... But for the majority, I do all the cooking and i don't really like it to much! lol |
Hubby cooks once in a while. He makes good stews, grilled meats, and pasta sauces. But the responsibility of making dinner falls on me, unless I have to go somewhere or he sees I'm tired. Of course, once I'm done cooking I won't enter the kitchen again, he's in charge of all the cleaning :) |

Mine doesn't cook, but he isn't picky either. If I cook he eats it. (no matter what the veggie:) ) and if I don't feel like cooking he makes himself a sandwich. But he does do the clean up.:D I think I prefer it this way. I'd rather cook than clean up. |
Isn't it kind of sexy watching a man cook? ;) .......Men if you want to turn a woman on, clean!!! ..... |
Wow a lot of you have hubby's/bf that cook.. lucky you.. I would starve if i did not cook, and he does not even make a sandwich for a lunch..LOL Although when I have had hip surgeries in the past he does cook then.. but the minute I can get up and do it, he is done. He is good with a hammer and will do renovations so I guess it is not too bad.. But I would think I died and went to heaven if he liked to cook...LOL |

I was never taught how to cook.. So when I do cook its rare and i stick to the things i know i can cook well.. So dear bf does a lot of bbq'n he loves to bbq.. which is fine w/ me i'm a meaty kind of woman.. |
Mine's the king of the grill:D No one can beat his baby back ribs and OMG his steaks are da bomb:p He can make a few other things too (his seafood stew is to die for!) but there have been some really gross things he's made like the clams and linguine he made one time, it was awful:laugh: I'd really love it if he'd clean up after, he's a messy cook:laugh: |
