My DH can cook some meals, but he normally doesn't....He works all the time and I like the feeling of having a home cooked meal ready for him...especially on these cold days we have been having...nothing like him coming home and I already have a meal almost done and a fire going in the fireplace....I love to cook and I love the fact that I am able to have a DH who works hard and allows me to be home! I think I was born to be a stay at home mom and wife...I love doing that sort of thing! Course, I love it when we go to some of our favorite places to eat too! Or when he calls and says he is bringing dinner home! |

My DH loves to cook, when he has time. We love having holidays by ourselves when we can create some really inspired menus using new recipes and when we'll have the time to actually make them, it's fun. |
My husband is an amazing cook- probably because he really likes doing it. I don't work so I do the cooking most week nights- my cooking is more functional. It isn't horrible but you're not going to be bowled over. I really don't like to cook though. |
husband cooks Yes, my husband cooks. When I was working long hours when I would come home he would have me a glass of wine ready. Dinner cooked so all I had to do was take a bath, relax. Since I don't work anymore its the same. His mom raised him right. After we got married 17-yrs ago Feb 1, we had our first fight on who was going to cook. Now that we have been married for awhile I let him do it. I love his cooking. But I bake, he does not do that he will make a pie but he would rather do the cooking. And Yes everything is from scratch. Cheryl:animal-pa |
