| Why am I sitting here? I leave for Calif. in 16 hrs and I'm not even packed yet. Here I sit in front of this computer checking out todays post. My plan was to get all my last minute errands done this afternoon and pack after dinner. But I got a call from my daughter 30 minutes away, she was hysterical because she cut hand and blood was everwhere and she didn't know where the nearest hospital was. So I called 911 on 3way and jumped in the car to meet her at the hospital. She wound up with 11 stitches, and darn near cut her left pinkie finger off. After 4 hours in the E.R. I took her home and helped her pack for tomorrows flight. We got something to eat, and I didn't get home until a little while ago. Now I'm too tired to do anything, but sit here. Well, I guess I'll try to get some sleep after I read some more threads and just get up at the crack of dawn. I'll miss you guys. Kathy |

| Thank you so much, and I have to be strong for my kids and grandbabies, They loved their Granny Grunch so very much, and I want to make my Mom proud of me, because I know she's up there watching over us. I'll give an update when I get back next week. Everyone here has been so kind, I guess we're sort of a cyber family Sincerely, Kathy |

| Yes, in a way we are a cyber family. There are a lot of very caring people here. I have not been on here a lot, I read but do not post much. Your sorrow (and your strength) have touched my heart. I can only feel sadness for you. And then on top of having to get someone to watch your babies, you had this emergency with your daughter. I had tears in my eyes reading it. I know you have to be strong for your family. That is so hard to do when in reality, you are hurting so much. I, for one, will be thinking of you this week. And I really DO hope your daughter's injury heals perfectly. Safe trip tomorrow and yes, please keep us posted. ETA: Oh my Gosh, and I just saw that you are recently widowed as well. My mom went through that and I know how hard it was for her.
