| I got a job!! So I just graduated in December with a degree in Early Childhood Education, and have been job hunting like crazy. I thought about substitute teaching, but I'm on a tight budget and need something with a more reliable income. It is hard to get a job at a school district in the middle of the year, as most teachers are contracted for the school year. Anyways, I got a job!! It is definitely not what I had planned, but its a job! I expected to teach Kindergarten-fourth. The job I got is at a pediatric day clinic, teaching special needs children who are preschool aged. After praying about it, I really feel this is where God can use me right now. I have been training this week, and am still really overwhelmed. I have no certification in special education. These children need help so bad though, and I am so excited to become a part of giving them a better life. Many of these children have already been through so much at such a young age. Please pray that I will have the patience and courage needed to work with these children. I am just so overwhelmed and ecstatic at the same time!! Oh yea, my official job title is "Early Childhood Developmental Specialist"....kinda makes me feel smart |

| Way to go. I worked almost half of my life (I'm 60) with special needs children. It can be really hard but can be really fulfilling too. We need more people like you.
