| We're getting really bad rain in NE GA, but that's the brunt of it so far. We are in a tornado watch until about 2 pm. Thankfully, we haven't had any tornadoes touch down in GA yet, and I hope we wont. My heart goes out to those who were affected by this

| Checking in from Rome -- all is calm here. We did get some rain, I went to bed early and woke up late. I didn't hear anything and the furbutts rested peacefully so... My thoughts and prayers to out to all who were affected by the severe weather. Everyone please stay safe! |

| this is so scary -- being hrs away from my daughter at school in Nashville. She thought the building she was in was pretty solid when the alarms were going off. Girl this is serious! I was heartbroken to see the pictures on the news of the destroyed dorms in Jackson, Tenn this morning. That's Union University - the only Christian school, my dd ended up applying to -- I loved that place. They have like 3,500 students there. Those dorms are destroyed - 2 entire buildings & there are 4 people living in each unit - one of the things dd liked about the school. Each unit included a full kitchen, bath, living room & then each roommate had their own very small bedroom. I can't imagine where they are going to house all those students!! They do have 3 sororities & 3 fraternities, and they have small houses, but nobody lives in them, they are at the edge of campus, maybe they'll let some folks move in there - but I guess they'll be on the floor. It's all so horrid & here I am feeling bad for myself in Iowa & my 10 inches of heavy snow & no man to clear it for me -- praying for all those affected by the storms & those who have lost loved ones. I heard it's up to 44.

We are fine here...we had severe thunderstorms and watches...heavy rains, wind, hail....but thankfully, all is good here. After that storm passed, we got hit w/ sleet and snow! Crazy! I know Gasseville got hit very hard by the tornadoes. They have been doing live newcasts from the hard hit areas and doing relief funds for those areas as well! Our thoughts and prayers go out to all those in the effected areas!

| There were 10 counties in AR. affected by the tornadoes and all ten are now under national disaster relief from the president. I think I heard that 56 people have been confirmed dead from all the storms/states that were hit...13 of were in AR. Thoughts and prayers go out to all those affected by these storms!
