Ohhhhh Connie The passing of ones parents will take time and more time to heal....Even w/ knowing they are in a better place now, doesn't help heal the loss you are feeling....that, you just hand that over to God and he will help you heal and recover from it...although, you will never forget it.

Maddie, Libby and I went to the cemetary today. It was bitter cold and I forgot to bring gloves, so nearly froze my hands off. I cleaned the snow off the stone as best I could and then put two yellow roses and had cut out a "miss you" message and tied that around the roses. I kept the dogs in the car until I was done with that and then brought them out and took a few pics of them in their fleece dresses. It was too cold for them to be out there for long, so I didn't even manage to get them to look up at the camera before I had to get them back in the car. Maddie acted as if she was saying, "Hello Grandma...I miss you! Here's pics.

Awwww That is GREAT!!! Great pictures....I know you have been doing a wonderful job at the grave site!

The girls dresses are just lovely!! And flannel...ohhhh, I bet that kept the chill off their backs!

Awwwwww Connie, how nice that you were all there together.
Isn't it amazing how they can wrap themselves around our hearts and with that comes incredible healing and support.

Oh Connie, I am just now seeing this sweetie. I know the day is almost over, but no doubt the pain is still there for you, of course. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Losing a parent isn't easy, you know I've been there...and that one year mark is truly hard, and so sad.

I am still just so sorry and think about you often...I know how hard losing your mom was for you, and still is. I love you girl...and I am here if you ever need anything...you know that

Awww Connie, those pictures nearly brought me to tears It did indeed look bitter cold and I can see why you had to hurry and get those babies back in the car. The girls looked adorable as they always do, and the flowers on your mom's headstone are just beautiful

Connie. my thoughts and prayers are with you. I lost my mom 2 days ago so my journey through this horrific grief is just starting. I'm hoping God will ease this pain for us both.
