| Can I think out loud to you guys? I might be pregnant. Im 34 have 2 kids and my husband is set to deploy for 18 months. I didnt try to get pregnant but honest to god the condom broke. And now my period is late. Late for me is nothing new but today my boobs started leaking. Now it could be caused by other things like stress or going off birth control(quit in Nov.). I dont know what to think. I didnt want to be pregnant now but I feel kinda like my biological clock is ticking and this is my last chance but the timings not great. Im very conflicted, do I hope I am pregnant or do I hope not to be? Do I let the emotional side of me rule or the logical side? I cant take a test till mid Feb. So I have to sit and stew for 2 moe weeks. Are the early pregnancy test good at 6 weeks or can I get one for less preggers? |

| Oh man..what a situation! I think that I remember that EPT advertising as being able to find out "3 days before your missed period." If you're already late, I think you might be able to go ahead and find out. I would go to the doctor for a blood test just to make sure

| I would think a home pregnancy test would detect pregnancy at 6 weeks.

| I have no advice, but you are in my thoughts. I'm sure that everything will turn out the way it's supposed to be. It's too bad that we can't be in on The Plan from the beginning tho!!

| Experts say women should wait 5-10 days after their period is officially late before taking the tests to ensure accuracy. If the test is negative, wait a few more days, take the test again. Not all pregnancy tests are identical and some are more sensitive than others, detecting lower levels of hCG. The smaller the amount of hCG the test measures, the earlier it can detect your pregnancy.

| How can you not be thrilled if you have a beautiful miracle growing inside of you? In life, we can't always plan for the most perfect time so just let go and be happy if it is meant to be. |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I would just look at it that whatever happens it was meant to be and you will deal with it. I can certainly understand you mixed emotions that has to be hard knowing your husband is going to deploy soon, if you have a good support system that will help.

| Oh my! I wish you the best of luck with everything. I am pretty sure, as the other ladies have said, that the home ones are pretty accurate. But, if your husband is active duty, head over to medical and have them do the test for you, and if you are they can get the ball rolling and get you all set up. But either way, I hope everything works out best for YOU and your family!
