I agree... It is so much easier to read a post this way!!! My eyes are not as good as they used to be!

I admit it. I don't read the long ones anymore. As others already mentioned, if there are no paragraph breaks I find it too hard to read and I skip it.

hehehhe...I think we're discussing looooooong, individual POSTS, now.

Long, unbroken paragraphs, with little or no punctuation (run-on sentences) do tend to irk me, so I skip them. But, length does not cause me to skip - if the content is interesting.

I will read the long post if it interest me and only if it broken up into paragraphs. If not I can't focus on it!

yeah, i know...i just couldnt resist!!!!!

i tend to skim through long winded posts. if something catches my eye, i will read it through. a already "waste" a good portion of my work day reading through YT...need to cut some corners here and there or i would never leave!!

-- ok, I don't read every post on YT every day, but if I open up the thread, I do read it all, regardless of the length.

But part of that probably has to do with the fact, I can write long posts all too often

But I too usually break up my posts every few sentences, or at the end of a logical paragraph.

I really struggle to read the long posts with now breaks or paragraphs -- I wish those who write that way would see this, - I care about what you have to say, but it's hard to get everything I need from your long statement.

Someone recently told me, that the reason you see the first letter of every word in caps but the rest of the word in lower case - is because that person actually typed in all CAPS, but YT doesn't allow for that & so it converts it to that strange Cap Letter Way.

But if you HAVE ALMOST EVERYTHING IN CAPS, but a few words not in caps, it will allow for it. -- the member told me they discovered this, one time when they tried to type in all caps

honestly.. most of the time.. I skip through the long posts.. I MAY glance at them to see it anything "POPS" up to my attention.. unless it's a story I've been following.. then I read the whole thread

Hmmm, no that's that correct either. This forum does not correct anyone's spelling nor the manner in which they type. I do not read all caps, any post which the first letter of every word is capablized, nor ones without a period....a period somewhere within a paragraph

See it is true my above post that was in ALL CAPS did get converted into Cap Letters & Lower Case - yes, you have to use spell check yourself, but for some reason, you can't type in all caps
