Ok...so I am aware that there may be some "non believers" on this forum and I have NO problem with that. to each his own But...for her to say this on national television...I just think she shot herself in the foot here. Just NOT cool. IMO

you see that after the show, she was interviewed and asked if she wanted to take any of what she said back. she said "no, I hope I offended people".

that's just wrong. I just can't see how people can be that way.

In reality you can't really "take it back" since it's all ready said and done. Again its part of her comedy to get a rise out of people. If you are going to be apologetic about something you say, you shouldn't be saying in the first place.

I always enjoyed her comedy but to be honest she has turned me off!

Yeah, I know this is old news I just now heard about it tho. I don't watch a lot of tv so never heard about it

that's how I feel. if it weren't for her fans, she wouldn't be where she is. She can't take all the credit. There are some very talented people out there...she is just one of many. and it is her fans that have taken her to the level she is at. Everyone has their own views on Jesus...but IMO..she would be nothing without Him. She was BLESSED with talent...she didn't earn it. she didn't create it herself. that is something that is pre-determined. If I had talents like some of these celebrities, you better believe God would be getting all the praise for it. To out and out curse Jesus like she did is just rude, disrespectful, and wrong. And I have to say, I'm sure she lost some "fans" with that comment. I know I won't be supporting her.

It kinda reminds me of the actress (can't remember her name right now) several years ago who was against our military and verbally bashing them...publicly displaying her distaste and disrespect for our military men and women...I can respect that everyone has their opinions and feelings...and that is fine. but why would you risk your career...everything you have accomplished..by saying such profound, highly controversial things. I just don't see how these people can be like that. It's not like they said these things on a whim. they thought about it, thought about it, planned it, and executed it. I think its funny that its going to be cut out of the show but its being played anyhow on the news...I for one dont find it offensive...I am not an athiest but I am agnostic. I do believe she meant it as sarcasm like the fella on the right said..."people thank jesus for winning the superbowl like God is on their team" I have heard worse things being spoken by comedians that never get looked at twice..

As for saying without jesus she wouldnt have what she has...thats your beliefs..but if you dont believe in god or are atheist then that wouldnt be your belief..I think they said that Kathy is atheist..so that wouldnt be her belief..
