| The YC's from Kohls are put into the jar that never burns right. It is the shape of it, YC used to use it on one of their lines and it had so many returns they quit using it,but must have had a bunch of them[jars] So now it is a special pour for Kohls. But if it burns funky return it either to Kohls or Yankee they have to take it back either place. |

"Before you light your new candle, be sure to trim the wick to one quarter inch. This will keep the flame height at a safe and optimal performance level. If the wick is too long the flame will be too big. This may cause smoke and will make the candle burn rapidly and unevenly. Conversely, if the wick is too short you may have trouble keeping your candle lit. For the first burn of any new candle that is one and a half inches or larger in diameter, be sure to allow at least a two hour burn time or until the wax around the wick has enough time to form a nice size wax pool that nearly reaches the outside edge of the candle. This will keep the wick burning in a slow even path for the life of your candle. Extinguish your candle and let it harden. After the initial two hour burn time you can relight your candle as often as you wish."

YT 500 Club Member | I love Yankee Candles. However, my daughter gave me a Beanpod Candle for Christmas, and now I have a new love. It is made of real soy. And it smells GREAT! I don't even have to burn it. I have left off the lid for about a month, and the room smells like it all the time. Check them out.

| Also, the candles will burn very clean and evenly if you use a topper...Trust me!! Some of my candles burned evenly and some didn't, and then it would always start to smoke after burning for awhile, even though I cut the wick before burning. Using a topper is awesome!! They sell them right there at YC. I bought one for $5...

| Maybe we should start a support group? I sometimes think I keep the local Yankee Candle store in business. I like the floral scents, mainly the rose ones. |

| What do old people get each other for Valentine's Day??? We went to the Yankee store and had a buy2 get1free coupon. I picked the Canary Island Banana, DH went with the Black Cherry & the new Water Garden. We had sensory overload by the time we were done.
