| Pricey pup stolen from Pet store on Long Island http://www.newsday.com/news/local/lo...,2722777.story "The theft happened within weeks of a Jan. 9 report of a $2,100 Yorkshire terrier puppy stolen by a young man and a woman who may have smuggled it out in her handbag from a Massapequa pet store, according to Nassau police. Suffolk police said they are investigating the Smithtown theft and a possible connection to the other puppy theft."

| ok, I'm really sorry the puppy was stolen - especially if someone is thinking they can resell it & make some money, etc. I don't mean to be crass - but perhaps this type of thing - with 2 different dogs reported being stolen in this story - maybe, this will deter pet stores from selling dogs -- puppymill dogs who just continue the cycle.

| Some people are just so sleazy. I hope they get found and the pups get returned.
