I love that show so much, I DVR it and watch the reruns! Its just simply amazing how well she does with all those toddlers, I think one great thing she has going her way was that she had her two twins that are older and can help out a lot and a lot of friends and family support! |

I had to stop watching that show. There have been lots of people have 6 babies at one time and they dont act like that. I dont think that if you love someone you should degrade them like she does John. I always want to reach through the TV and ask her how she would feel if he spoke to her like that. I dont like using the fact that she has 8 kids to deal with as an excuse. There are people out there with 16 kids and dont have to act like that. She is never loving to John. As for Maddie she is always up Kates butt so why wouldnt she act just like her. I wouldnt want my kids to hear me getting talked to like she does John. Its like she has no respect for him at all. I am a stay at home mom and I love my role in our family. This is just my 2 cents. |
I have been married forever and a day and I can't or wont' judge their relationship. Every marriage has it's own dynamics and I doubt she has changed personality since they started dating. Also remember that being on tv they will cut and amp certain things to give the show more appeal. So I will watch and enjoy watching the babies grow but I wont' put much stock into a lot else. It's tv and these folks like nothing more than to hype things up and skew the way people are portrayed. See that in most of these reality shows. |

This show is by far my favorite on tv! I hope my kids are that well behaved when I start having them. I think both parents do a great job with that many little ones running around. |

I agree you can't give as much to that many children. If you see their show essentially the kids buddy up and parent each other to help her. I think at that point it's a bit much. While I won't do it myself personally because with 3 I know how hard and expensive it is...I won't knock them for doing their thing. They make it work and seems that their family is happy. |

I was a fan, .... but had to stop watching, the way Kate treats her hubby, just made me sad. IF I had 8 or more kids I would be treating my husband with Love and resepect so that the thought of LEAVING Never crosses his minnndd. I'd want him to feel BLESSED Not Beaten. I do give her the thumbs up for being organized and having more energy than I ever would. I am glad they are doing better financially. Just my 2 cents. :cool: |

I can honestly say that I wouldn't expect anyone else to act differently if they have 8 kids. Yeah, I think she's kinda mean to her husband sometimes, but he thinks that when he comes home from work he shouldn't have to take care of the kids.. -she's with them ALL DAY! I think it's only fair that when he comes home he should have to help her with them. |
Not to change the subject again from the Gosselins to the Duggars but I've gotta say that the Duggar family is pretty awesome. Yes, I can see how maybe they don't have enough one on one time with their parents BUT you can see on the tv shows that they all seem to have a very special relationship with their parents. And the parents are SO laid back and happy! Whereas Kate is always so stressed, Michelle Duggar is so cheerful and her husband too! You know they built that 7000+ sq. ft. house practically by themselves and have NO DEBT! That is incredible. Yes, they make money with speaking engagements and the tv show but how many of us with way fewer kids can say that can manage that kind of household with no debt?? I sure can't!! I think it's refreshing to watch the Duggar's shows. Jon and Kate..... I like to see what the kids are up to but I do think Kate needs to "chill" just a tiny bit. Yes, it takes organization but she's a little too uptight sometimes. |
