| Prayers for a job My hubby is graduating this spring with a civil engineering degree and the company he had an internship with for 3 years really screwed him over. They told him last fall if anyone gives him a job offer to let them know so they can counter offer, well now they say no jobs available. Grrr.... Tomorrow is his college career fair and he has two interviews set up. One for Thursday and one for next week. There is a company that seems really interested but they are in Houston. I've never lived anywhere but Indiana and I'm a little scared. I want him to get a job really bad and at this point we will go anywhere, but that's such a far move. It's really what he loves to do and what he has done with his past company. He would rather be on a construction site than design. We need some prayers that he will get a job he wants and pays good. His college has 99% job placement for all of their seniors. So I know something will come along. Just could use some extra prayers. You can never get enough.

| You have mine as well. Seems like everyone I talk with is having a rough time with their jobs. My dad has worked at the same company for almost 25 years and he got laid off right after Christmas. Thank goodness he was one of the few that got called back. It's really tough for us all.

| My prayers are with you, the same thing happened to my best friend. Her husband was in law school and had worked for a firm while he was in school. When he graduated they did the same thing.....my friend had to move.... That is just so wrong |

| That's what we thought. I guess we shouldn't of been so excited about that other job until we had it in writting. It just stinks when you go three years thinking your future is going to be one way and turns out it's far from it.

| Absolutely! Good luck to him, I'm sure that he'll find something If you had to move to Houston, just think of how many YT'ers live there I *think* that's where Villette lives

| Finger's crossed he finds what's he's looking for. Times seem to be getting tough all over. Sometimes change is good so if that has to happen think positive. Good luck to him. |

| I think his job fair went pretty well. We hope so at least. There is 3 companies that are mainly interested in him. Two are based out of Houston and one is in Kansas City. He had an interview today, has one next Wednesday, and he is suppose to fly out to Houston for an interview either next week or the following. I hope something comes out of all of this. I hope my hubby doesn't have to stay overnight in Houston. We never have stayed apart since we've been married and it would be really hard. I keep hinting to tag along. LOL I also have a HUGE fear of planes. I would be a nervous wreck. Thanks everyone for the good thoughts and prayers. So far so good.
