| Anyone have a Maytag washer? Our Whirlpool washer finally died, it had good long life and served us well for almost 20 years. So the other day we went to look at washers at the depot, good golly! washers are expensive now. We found a Maytag floor model on discount, because it was black and apparently thats not a popular washer color. I really didn't care what color it was, just as long as it works. Does anyone else have a Maytag washer? This is our first Maytag appliance ever, so I don't have an prior experience with this brand. Oh, and the main reason that sold us on the washer was the HUGE capacity.

| I have a maytag washer & dryer... and although I love the HUGE capacity, it seems that they tangle the clothes together... like I always have to iron pants and stuff because the whole load will come out of the dryer in one tangled ball! I dunno if id buy another one... but this one came with the townhouse I bought a little over 2 years ago. I have no idea how old they are.

| I have a Maytag washer and dryer too. I don't think they are as good as they use to be. I haven't had any problems with them but my dishwasher, which was also a Maytag went out and was not that old. They had been recalling some of them so I bought a GE and hate the thing. I will be glad when it dies. |

| We bought our Maytag washer 6 1/2 years ago and have not had any problems. However, I don't like the way it can tangle the clothes, or tear up cotton throw rugs, so we have decided to buy front loaders next, but will stick with Maytag. |

| Do your washers have the agitator? The one we purchased is a top loader w/o agitator.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I have one and it wrinkles the clothes. I thought I heard that Whirlpool bought out Maytag.

| My first washer and dryer were Maytag and the washer lasted years! Next, my husband and I bought front loaders and I HATED them. If I put a load in to wash before work, they stank when I got home. When Mark died and I moved, I bought another Maytag washer and dryer and I love them.
