im sooo scared !! today, at about 11:45, me and my friend (she's 14 and im 13)were walking to burgerking together (about 10 minutea away by foot) . we live in quite a small neighborhood . we usually go there with our friends on the weekends, so we (or my parents) didnt think too much of it . So, we were about half-way there when we were about to come onto the corner of the block we were walking on . This guy started slowing down next to us (we were on the left-side sidewalk, so he wasnt right beside us) . We didnt worry about it cause we thought he was turning . But no, he stopped completely . We were shocked and didnt know quite wat was going on . We couldnt move, we were so frightened . he rolled down his window and waved us to come in . we immediately looked straight forward wide-eyed and were talking to eachother through our teeth (we were still quite shaken up) . we looked back, and he was pulling up a camera and had it out the window and aimed it at us . we started runnniinnnggg as fast as we could towards where we were already going . i was screaming and in tears . we ran behind a bank and were frantically looking around making surehe wasnt following us. when we cought our breath, we started walking towards BK again . i was still stumbling cause i was so scared . Then when we got there, we were looking around, almost paranoid, and scared of everyone (the man who stopped by us was old, and looked innocent) . halfway through eating, she said 'Kelli, stay callm ... the guy is sitting at the table in the back.' sure enough, i tried to stay calm, looked towards the back subtly, and he was sitting there ... staring at us . i turned around calmly, and started BAWLING . i was frantic again . i called my daddy to pick us up cause im scared of walking on the streets again so soon(please dont call me wierd for that) . So, we walked out front of BK, and sat on the curb (we were facing the shopping center) . We looked inside burgerking to see what he was doing, AND HE WASNT THERE !! we were crying cause he could have been anywhere . he got in his car and was just circling around the center . my daddy came to get us and we told him the story. we got back to my house and ran inside to make sure he wasnt watching us . she's sitting right here next to me looking out the window . and every so often, he drives by . WE ARE TERRIFIED :( :( :( :thumbdown  :( |

Call the poice and don't go to sleep! OMG that would be so scary! |
What a terrible experience for you. Honey, you really ought to notify the police, for your protection, and to make sure this doesn't happen to another child again. I always tell my grandaughters that they should never approach a strange car, and if they are threatened, to RUN and tell an adult fast. I don't mean to scare you, but try to be aware as to what is going on around you at all times, and be careful. Janelles |

You need to tell the police. If he keeps driving by your house can you get his license plate number (have an adult do it). Then call the police. This isn't something to take lightly and you would have to be very cautious everytime you left your house if you don't report it. |
Not to offend but that is exactly why I will not let my 14 year old walk around town alone. You never know what could happen and at this age your not mature enough to know how to handle a situation like this. |

I really am so sorry you are so scared. #1 you should have told the Burger King Employee to call the Police. #2 Why do your Parents let you walk around like that? #3 your Dad needs to do something!!! This is not play time it is serious! |
You have to file a report now!! Waiting till the next time could be a bad scenerio. In order for the police to also be able to do something next time you must report him now. I'm thinking he's a petifiler. He will continue to do it until he finds his next target or until you girls split up. |
well no you are not!! you havent called the police and you hid behind a bank instead of finding an adult... That is my point!! |

I agree with Maureen! I am sorry but you need to do something not be here... I had things like this happen to me when I was a kid. they are scarey and the Police need to be told. |

Frankly, I am not sure why your Dad would not of called the police immediately!! If someone had done this to my child I would of called the police. Did you say that he keeps driving past your house?  If so, why aren't you calling the police? |

I would not call DADDY saying If it happen again... (DOING SOMETHING) So do you know the Petifile????? then ?????if it is a amall area... |
This is a wierd thread... If a man had pulled up and tried to entice me over to him and then he was following me...to burger king and is now circling around your house...I'm pretty sure the police would have been called along time ago. I can't imagine a parent not calling the police  |
so, after reading these responses, i've come to the conclusion that i'm just a 13 year old girl who is incapable of handling any situation, and making wrong choices when faced with a problem that calls for a rash decision, with a mom and dad who do not correctly know how to parent . we learn somethin new everyday, dont we ? well that was fun . anyone know how to close a thread ? |

I'd hope, as a parent, my kids would be talking to me...not posting in a YT forum. And again, as a parent, I'd have a description of that vehicle and a policeman at my home pronto! Taking pictures of anyone in any situation, without their permission, is an invasion of privacy. That, in itself, is enough to file a police report. |
