I may be able to help...I'm getting over this myself but it can take a while. I use Cola Syrup for the nausea...it works great! It's over the counter and can be found at Walgreen's. Take a trip to your health food store and tell them everything that is going on...they can help you there. You need to take pro-biotics to replace the good bacteria in your system that was lost while you were sick. I drink 7up or Sierra Mist, slowly, and eat unsalted crackers if I need a snack...eating smaller meals every couple of hours, instead of a normal sized meal, will help keep your stomach settled. Also, no dairy...my Dr. said you actually become lactose intolerant during this but you can eat dairy again once you're better...which is great because I miss my ice cream! You may also need something to keep your stomach acid down, like Pepcid or Zantac, but you can find that over the counter. Good luck...I hope you feel better soon...I certainly know what you're going through!

The last food both me and my daughter ate is chinese food. She got it first, had it for 24 hours, then I got it, I'm on day 2 now. I've had it before so I know this is what it is. I'm actually doing a lot better now. I think (pray!) that I have everything out of me that was in me. Too bad, that was my favourite restaurant.

Last week; I got sick.....thought it was food poisoning....but now I believe that is was not.... Came on quick...lasted for 3 days...vomiting lots.....but apparently, there is a stomach virus going around.......it is hard, fast and pukey......lol... so, you may have this bug.......not food poisoning....drink lots of fluid.....rest.....use advil or tylenol for painful body aches... I am better now.....too good luck
